Introducing DAB member: Lilly

Near the beginning of our time here at the Dog’s Advisory Board, we were randomly assigned partners and we interviewed each other, so that we all could learn about each one of us here. I interviewed Lilly and we stuck mostly to the topic of talking about books, but I hope you can learn something about her.

What bring you here [to the Dog’s Advisory Board]?
I want to be around people who love to read, and it’s a great opportunity to write for a website.

What’s your favourite genre?
Contemporary and romance.

What got you into YA?
I didn’t read much until I started reading YA, so I’m not sure, but reading Judy Bloom got me into romance.

Do you write?
Yes, I find it hard to stick to ideas though. I’ll write anything that comes to mind.

Do you find it easy to manage reading and writing with school and other hobbies?
I find it hard to manage writing particularly, but also reading when I have a lot of homework in the school term.

Are you into a lot of online book communities?
I used to watch a lot of Booktube, but not so much now. I really love Goodreads though.

How do you discover new books?
Online mostly, but sometimes from the library and/or recommendations from other people.
